The 16 storey Hyatt Residences is a distinguished residential tower on Princess Street. The new structure features 88 serviced apartments, each enhanced by generous balconies that create a natural light and open-air atmosphere. In addition to the new apartments, the development also includes the refurbishment of the existing hotel, including restaurants, function rooms, health club, and back of house facilities.
MPM’s scope of services includes the coordination of management agreements, along with the procurement and installation of both operational and architectural FF&E, ensuring seamless delivery and exceptional quality throughout.

The extensive and complex brief has been responded to with great care and attention from the macro to the micro scale. The use of asymmetric curved balconies and tapered curved canopies to the exterior, provides not only practical benefit of real shelter and usable outdoor living spaces, but also creates a delightful texture, pattern and attractive form for the city to enjoy. This building provides the city with a successful example of sensitive and considered design which raises the bar for the current level of inner-city accommodation, from both a practical and an aesthetic perspective.”
