This project involved building a new 300m rock revetment seawall to mitigate storm and climate impacts. Utilities upgrades preceded improvements to the shared footpath and road, street furniture, rain gardens and new planting spaces which has revitalised the urban realm connecting people to the ocean and marina.
MPM provided Engineer to Contract and project management services for Auckland Urban Development Office (then Eke Panuku). The project was constructed in a live environment, ensuring public access remained open for ongoing events in the area, including Sail GP.
