MPM has supported the delivery of Mainstream’s four new freight warehouses in Tauranga, Cromwell, Nelson and Palmerston North. These strategically located design and build depots have boosted Mainstream’s operations nationwide. Each project comprising a warehouse, office and hardstand yard with carpark, utilities, access and landscaping.
Key initiatives included solar panels installed on the roof for the site to become a net-positive contributor to the grid. Also, the installation of a rainwater harvesting system for washing the roof and panels and feeding all the toilets.
MPM provided full Project Management services across the Mainstream projects, including programme management, consultant and contractor coordination, cost and variation management, payment certification, remedial investigations, and project close‑out. MPM acted as the central point of coordination between the client, consultants and contractors across all locations.
