In 2018 the building underwent some major refurbishment along with the seismic strengthening of the existing structure using carbon fibre. The exterior façade was retained and enhanced along with receiving a modern canopy which complimented the heritage façade. Today over the 3-storeys the building houses the international cosmetics brand Sephora.
