The first project was the full project management for the reconstruction of the woodwork technology room that was destroyed by fire. Remedial works were also carried out to adjoining buildings and roofs which were also damaged by the fire. As part of this project, a new fire egress stair was installed to a separate block as well as structural strengthening work to a cantilevered lab.
A second project was weathertightness remediation involving reroofing, recladding and internal refurbishment of their administration block.
A third project was the project management of the overclad of a portion of the existing staff room and deck area.
MPM’s role for these projects included engaging the design team, scoping, design management, tendering, construction and closeout. MoE and the school are very happy with the results!
