The Riverhead School twelve Classroom and Administration building project was carried out for the Ministry of Education. The project was staged due to a very constrained site with access from one end of the building and the need to keep the school operational during the project. Stage One involved the construction of the two storey twelve classroom block and administration building in three phases due to the tight site. The building was designed in line with the MOE Innovative Learning Environments (ILE) guidelines.
Stage Two involved the demolition of the existing classrooms and administration building, site works creating an extensive sealed play area, school entry, car parking, and caretakerÕs garage and resolving extensive site infrastructure issues.
