Shortland Chambers is the largest set of barristers chambers in New Zealand, occupying the top five levels of 70 Shortland Street, Auckland CBD. MPM Projects were engaged to provide full project management services for refurbishment works to all five levels.
The main reception areas and common rooms were completely upgraded to create a more modern feel including feature ceilings and lighting as well as solid timber sliding doors. Kitchens were relocated to more central locations and fully equipped with new appliances. Works to the open plan areas and individual chambers involved replacement of the ceilings, lighting, air conditioning and carpet.
