A new 2-storey eight classroom block was built for New Lynn Primary School in response to roll growth needs. To make room for the development, existing classrooms were relocated on site and master planning sited the new block to allow for the development of another 8-classroom block in the future.
The design for two four-classroom flexible learning spaces follows the principal’s ideals for enquiry-based learning. The new block includes not only teaching spaces but also resource space, offices, breakout spaces and toilets.
