The Performing Arts Centre is the flagship project located at the heart of the Diocesan school campus. The project is being built in two stages, with the first stage now completed and the second stage currently under construction. Once complete it will form a single, integrated facility that comprises a 975 seat auditorium, foyer and gallery for community gatherings, 25 purpose-built performance and lecture rooms and acoustic soundproof rehearsal spaces.
The finished building will be the largest performing arts centre within any school throughout Australasia and will be on a parallel with many civic theatre buildings. The building will offer students the best opportunities to engage in both performing and visual arts utilising the latest in theatre and audio visual systems and technology.
